The former location of Bebo Trattoria, Kora offers a casual atmosphere with light Italian-style lunch, dinner, and brunch menus, a fabulous lounge, an affordable Italian wine selection, and discounted “happy hour” bar menu. Kora is brought to us by same folks as Farrah Olivia in Alexandria.

New Arlington Tunisian restaurant Chez Manelle was recently reviewed by the Washington Post's Tom Sietsema who praised the restuarant's "small, satisfying and gently priced" menu.

Backyard Barbecue fires up the grill at 2910 N Sycamore St (in the Williamsburg Shopping Center - the former Wildflour Bakery location). Backyard Barbeque and Catering Company is a family run catering company, owned and operated by husband and wife team Michael and Anne-Marie Schmidt who boast over 40 years combined experience in local restaurants and catering. No summer is complete without a little barbeque - be sure to check them out!

Two Arlington restaurants receive 2009 RAMMY Awards, announced at the Annual Rammy Restaurant Awards Gala on June 7. Liberty Tavern took home honors for the Best Neighborhood Gathering Place and Willow's Kate Jansen received the honor for Best Pastry Chef. Willow Restaurant also received top honors at the 2009 Taste of Arlington, bringing home the award for Best Restaurant.

Signature Theatre wins Tony Award! Signature Theatre has been awarded the 2009 Regional Theater Tony Award, and comes with a $25,000 prize from VISA, USA. The award was presented at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 7th. Read more!
