Arlington's Best Business Awards (ABBIEs) Winners 2009

The votes have been tallied: over 5,000 people weighed in on the very best Arlington businesses in fifteen categories. Awards were presented by Arlington County Board Chair, Barbara Favola at the November 17, 2009 County Board meeting.

“An awards program is just one of the many ways we support the Arlington business community, especially the small retail stores and restaurants that help shape the character of Arlington's urban villages,” stated Barbara Favola. "The People's Choice ABBIES helps us recognize the very best of all Arlington businesses, with participation from the entire community."

In addition to recognition from the Arlington County Board, award winners will receive continuous recognition throughout the year as People’s Choice ABBIE Award winners from AED including promotion on the Arlington County Web site, in Arlington e-newsletters, AVN-74 cable spots, newspapers advertisements and special placement in the Arlington County Visitors Guide & Map.
